The past few months have been tricky to negotiate, not just for us but for lots of businesses out there.We had to take the difficult decision to furlough some of our staff. Today, we’re delighted to report that, as of 1st July, ALL our staff will be back, reporting for their duties as before.For our MD, Julian Chadwick, it was important to get the crew back together as quickly and as safely as possible – our team love what they do and being side-lined isn’t what anyone wanted.The whole team can now look forward to the summer months and helping clients maintain pristine facilities.
We Always Put Safety First
With the new ways of working, one thing will always remain here at Ultra Cleaning Service; whatever the Health and Safety guidelines are, we’ll stringently adhere to them for the safety of our customers, the general public and our colleagues.To ensure we’ve adapted our service to current government guidelines around COVID-19, we’re doing the following:- Our workers are following all social distancing guidelines- All staff are wearing face masks and gloves to prevent spreading of the virus- The Ultra Cleaning Service fleet of vehicles are undergoing deep cleans and sanitisation cleans every week.
July Is Going To Be A Busy One For Us!
With all the uncertainty due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we wanted to leave you with some good news.Firstly, a big thank you to our staff for the commitment they’ve shown and their ongoing support. We’ve got a strong team and we’ll need all of them at full throttle to cope with the July order book.
Our pressure washing team has done a great job with the delivery of graffiti removal and roof cleaning in Birmingham and Manchester.Whilst our reach and wash service has been a little subdued over the last couple of months while we wait for some clients to re-open, we’ve still managed to pick up 2 new contracts. New contracts at a time of global crisis is always something to celebrate!Finally, our rope access cleaning teams are full steam ahead and are already 90% booked up for July – a fantastic result in light of what’s going on in the world.
Final Thoughts…
We’re under no illlusions how tough the last few months have been – they’ve been testing for us and we know sectors like Hospitality have been hit even harder.Everyone here at Ultra Cleaning Service hopes the recent announcement relaxing certain lockdown rules will help the businesses that most need it to get back on their feet and operational ASAP.Also, a HUGE thank you to key workers across all sectors including the NHS, Private Healthcare, Logistics, Supermarkets and many more who’ve rallied together and kept the country safe, healthy, fed and watered.We’ve got some brilliant people in this country, let’s never forget that.Until next time…thanks for reading.
